Organic vs. Non-Organic?
When it comes to organic people think “healthier” but it basically means no chemically added pesticides, added growth hormones or antibiotics. You decide if that’s healthier or not. There are studies linking those 3 added enhancers to many other issues, these studies can be all over the place so I take everything with a grain of salt and go about how foods make me feel.
If you choose organic whether it’s healthier or not just, another thing to keep in mind is, who knows what happened to your food from the farm to the store, could have been contaminated in the process and buying organic can get EXPENSIVE AF. So I only buy certain things organic👇
The dirty dozen.
Strawberries
Spinach (always get spinach organic and pre washed)
Kale
Nectarines
Apples
Grapes
Peaches
Cherries
Pears
Tomatoes
Celery
Potatoes
🍗“Organic” non-antibiotic raised meat.
Everything else I don’t specifically buy organic unless it just looks better/more fresh. Soooo yeah that’s my take on organic versus non-organic, let me know your opinion!
